Venue

The workshop will be held in the International Meeting Center "Eulenhof", a facility of the University of Stuttgart located 7 walking minutes from the University’s campus in Vaihingen. The center is connected to both Stuttgart airport (17 minutes) and downtown Stuttgart (10 minutes) by a direct S-Bahn train (station “Universität” on lines S1, S2, S3).

Please note that there are extensive construction works for the S-Bahn (local trains) taking place during the time of IWCR. Trains of S1, S2 or S3 will only run from the city center, Main Station, through the tunnel until the stop “Universität”. If you ride a train from the other direction (e.g. from the airport), please get off at the stop “Vaihingen” and take bus 82 until “Universität”. The bus ride from Vaihingen takes about 10 minutes, the direction on bus 82 shows “Waldeck”, (see time table).

If you arrive at the airport, there is also the possibility to take the express bus line “X60” (direction indicated is “Leonberg”), which goes directly to “Universtät Schleife” in 17 minutes. The bus stop “Universität Schleife” is directly in front of the hotel “Campus Guest”.

Take an S-Bahn (S1, S2 or S3) to the stop “Universität”. Take the exit following the arrows “Wohngebiet Schranne und Engelbang” (do not take the exit “Universitätszentrum”). The exit which you should take is near the first car of the train when coming from downtown and near the last car when coming from the airport.

1. After exiting the station, turn around and walk 100 meters. You will see the Campus.Guest hotel on your left.
2. Enter the Postschulenweg on your right and walk 60 meters until the street that can be used by cars ends. A pedestrian path continues in the same direction. Follow this path for another 40 meters.
3. You will come at the street called Viereichenweg (note that there is no sign with this street name nearby). Cross this street and walk slightly to the left (5 meters); take the pedestrian path that continues in the same direction as the path before and walk for 100 meters.
4. Turn left on the Robert-Leicht Strasse and walk for 200 meters; the Eulenhof will be on your left (house with the number 161).
